Cancellation of the Alberta Field Trial:

It pains me to have to do this, but our bird situation in the Youngstown area is inadequate to run a trail

this fall. Neil and other have been working the area and are finding few adult birds and fewer young

birds. We can only surmise that the wet spring and even wetter summer is the cause.

We will have to see what the spring in 2017 brings before planning next year.
